The FREE friendly hospital transport service for cancer patients registered at Meadowbank Health Centre
We are having a fundraising Race night on the 22nd February 2019. It is in the Masonic Hall Brightons and first race is 7.30 pm. Tickets are only £5 and this includes a sandwich buffet. You wont find old races projected on screens, instead you'll find racegoers joining in if they want to 'wind' their horses in a quickly as possible. As you would expect it makes for great fun for all ages. So please come along for a good fun night while supporting our cause. Call Graham on 07774 126557 for tickets and information.
A huge thank you to the Avonside Inn, Avonbridge for raising the fantastic sum of £1,400 for our charity. Special thanks to Karen Robertson and Lesley Campbell for organising the Fun Day on 19 August and to everyone who assisted them. Especially Karen's Dad William who had his back waxed to raise money. A great achievement for a small community.
Meadowbank Car 4U are hosting a concert at the Wallacestone Methodist Church at Shieldhill Road, Reddingmuirhead (next to the Community Hall) on Friday 3rd November 2017 by popular folk singer Bruce Davies. The concert is due to start at 7.30pm. Ticket prices are £10 each and includes refreshments which will be served at the interval.
We are hoping that Eilidh Robertson who sang for us at our bag packing day at Tesco's just before Christmas last year will perform some songs on the evening as well.
Bruce can be heard on Youtube and on his Facebook Page. Bruce Davies - Singer/Songwriter/Musician from Scotland.
