The FREE friendly hospital transport service for cancer patients registered at Meadowbank Health Centre
We would like to thank the Snowdrop Café in Polmont for their very genrous donation of £500. The donation Mary Robertson (right) received helps us to continue our free transport service for people with cancer.
One of the recent donations we have received was from Ian Hunter who requested donations instead of gifts for he and his wifes recent Golden Wedding.
The Albert Hunt Trust gave us another large donation, which was truly welcomed.
An anonymous donation arrived, which is very kind of the donor.
We’re excited to announce Anne, was named as one of ten outstanding women shortlisted for the prestigious Pavers Community Champions Awards. “Anne’s commitment to setting up the patient transport for individuals attending cancer treatment appointments has not only made a significant difference in her community, but also earned her high praise from a grateful patient. The nominee’s heartfelt story was shared at a local Pavers store, highlighting her exceptional service, compassion, and the stress-free support she helps provide in challenging times.” Anne and daughter Eilidh, gathered at a celebratory event on March 8, with afternoon tea at York Minster Refectory, which they both said was wonderful! Anne has also received a year’s supply of Pavers shoes! Anne has declared while she was the recipient of this award, she is determined she has collected the award, on behalf of all those involved in Car 4U. Our grateful thanks go to our local Pavers store within Klondyke Garden Centre.
The Quiz was a resounding success on the 21st April in The Venue! Liam the quiz master was indeed a master of the evening, great quiz, music, karaoke and dancing for around 80 people!
